The fog came

"They" promised us fog for Saturday morning but it didn't show up. Later that day we went for a walk in the woods, and suddenly within less than 20 minutes fog has filled the entire landscape.
It is amazing how fog starts making compositions in the scenery. The great sensation of depth is profound.

Apply Winter

Nice and tasty red apples dangling from their branches in the cold of a winter morning.
Stitched from four photos on a row.

Lion not hungry

The whole pack have already eaten. This one goes for "seconds" but realizes that her stomach is filled to the brim. She goes back to the heated rock to lie down for another day or two.

Going home

Going home from a great concert has this "driving home for christmas" feeling to it. Its somewhat film-like in many ways.

Little monkey

Sometimes a trip in northern outback can reveal wondrous things. Too bad they're always confined to cages - yet they look beautifully calm and content as they scavenge for berries, bugs and worms in the undergrowth.

Going Somewhere

The same morning I snapped the foggy street, I got this as well. The simplicity persuaded me to push the trigger. Guess we all need to get away from time to time.

Foggy Morning

Going to work on a sunday morning is not enjoyable. Luckily I captured this on my way. The elements is not as desirably original as one would want, but what the heck.

Lonely Statue

This lonely statue has apparently had a rough time. A tiny green tear of paint crawls down her cheek, and the text on the foot is not exactly flattering. I cropped the photo like that for censuring by not censuring purposes. If you catch my drift.

Parisian Structures

Made of 4 photos, stitched together to form a pretty large vista of some of the buildings surrounding the Eiffel Tower located in Paris.

Shutter time Focus Offset

So turning the focus during a slow shutter creates some pretty cool effects.I have to try this on fireworks next time I get the chance.

Extraordinary Square Bokeh

For those of you who know about Bokeh (click to find out more) this should be pretty amazing to see. Bokeh (background and foreground blur) is usually the shape of the formation that the shutter blades make when the camera is triggered. The size of the Bokeh is a result of the focal length within a lens.
With my costum Bokeh presets - (see earlier post) - I can force the Bokeh into different shapes. Here I've chosen a square, which shapewise is directly opposit of the usual circular Bokeh - furthermore a square is not cheesy like other costum Bokehs such as hearts, smilies or other rediculous inventions.
Anyway - click the photo above and pay attention to the blur in the background. That is freaking fancy!

Also here is a sunset taken with my square Bokeh preset.
I just want to point out that these two photos have undertaken no manipulative process. It is purely analogue effects.

Costum Bokeh Testrun

So taking the Costum Bokeh on and off works like a charm. Replacing the Bokeh with another "Preset" is easy as well. So far I got the diamond shaped Bokeh, and a heart which i will not post any pictures of since its a total cliche.

Underwater Me

Kristoffer Bjørn wielding the camera, my Katrine holding a submergable flash (inside a 2-litre bottle) and Krisoffer's Karo holding a flash to give overall light. Me suffering for the photo - being upside down in water is not fun. Out of 50 photos only a few came out with a smile.
The underwater portraits are a colaborative effort of both Kristoffer Bjørn and myself.

Underwater Kristoffer

this picture was part of a quite complicated creational process. It looks simple, but we pursuated my Katrine and Kristoffer's Karo to both hold a flash. One of those flashes was put into a 2-litre bottle and submerged just behind the camera. The infrared signal connecting the transmitter and the recievers worked perfectly because of the many bounce-oppotunities. Well done girls, and thanks for the help.

waterline motif

a simple motif - yes, but this would be otherwise impossible without getting your camera wet. The lake stinks of duck-fieces but it was worth it.
