Self

a selfportrait of one self looking angry. camera was present in the lower part of the picture, so I naturally had to mask that out.
Key light is power of the sun, secondary fill from the right is an ordinary lightbulp.

Rainy window

well it's kind of a cliché, but there is something remarkably calm and solitary about the gray tone and the blurry lights.

Fireworks

i've tried to do a couple of long exposure pictures photographs before, but since i have no pod, they often turn out to be blurry. However when it comes to fireworks its a different story. Due to the flaming debris being in constant motion, there is no way the light will become blurry. Holding the camera makes the small "fireflies" seem more fragile and flimsy.

Plant life

picture taken in my moms beautiful garden. Taken by me standing on a plastic bucket, while my mom is holding me by my jacket, preventing me from falling over. Just because I didn't want to go home and stitch-out my feet.

Silos

a couple of silos spike from behind piles of rubbish.

Swamp scenery

the colors are subtle but does the job well. dimming down saturation often helps raise the bar from amateurism to semi-pro.

Dramatic clouds

dramatic clouds covering the sky of Italy. playing around with exposure often reveals details about a scene which is not always visible to the distracted photographer. too bad for the overall scene that the beam of light through the dense layer of clouds is pointing in the wrong direction.

Sisters on the lake

three sisters calmly enjoying the late noon-sun on the lake near "Spagna". The composition is only plussed by the murky and filthy state of the water surface.
the smallest of the three sisters was captured in a deep mesmorization of the three birds in the foreground, however when the picture was taken her eyes had wandered several meters - rendering a helarious facial expression on her face.
